X Unanswered Call For Help X

She sat there, the moonlight washing over her fur like a coat of ice. The sudden intrusion of light set the dark substance that leaked from her muzzle shimmering. She was oblivious to it, more intent on keeping a watch on her surroundings as she mulled over the event that led up to her current state.

Her jaw tightened. It should have gone much better then it did. She knew that the attack was going to come, didn't know when, just knew that it would happen. And she had been right. Though when the battle started it had gone wrong from the get-go. Her squad was in a tight spot and in dire need of assistance, and a call had gone out. But no one answered it. Five of her nine men had been killed off the bat. Two were wounded, one fatally, and only one other asides herself were in any shape to do anything. Well that was until she actually started moving about.

As soon as she started walking around, a stab of pain had her on the floor in agony. Instantly she knew she had not come from the battle unscathed. Just above her breast, was a gaping hole the size of a mans out stretched hand. She sniffed at it, then began to lick at it as best she could. After several minutes, she gave up and settled down on her side. It was an action that sent her coughing. Blood pooled in her mouth before leaking out and dripping on to the stones beneath her.

Her mind came back to reality when the shifting of some beings feet in the undergrowth had her looking up. Stepping into full view of the massive canine came three well grown up and recognizable figures. "Its damn well time you came. Though your more then a little too late." The female white wolf growled, the corners of her mouth pulling down into a frown and revealing bloodied teeth.

THe only female in the group was instantly concerned. "Sempai!" she cried, but as she started to move forward, the other sent her reeling back with a loud growling snarl. "STAY WHERE YOU ARE!"

THe massive wolf settled back down on her belly. "Don't act so suddenly concerned Anju." She snarled, lips pulling back to show her bloodied fangs again. "I would have expected you to turn out better then this. Have I not taught you better?" The young female gave her a blank look which sent the other growling. "I sent out a distress call no more then five hours ago, and just now someone is barely responding?" Her voice picked up in pitch. "I sent a warning to the Tsuchikage and told him that he was to have you ready to be sent out. I see that my warning and request was not heeded."

One of the other two with Anju stepped forward. "But Rin-Sempai......." He was cut off. "Silence!" She glared at him making him take a few steps back. "You will speak when I address you Yuki and not before. The same goes for you as well." She barked pointing to their last team mate.

"Sempai please try to understand....." Anju stated holding her hands out in a pleading motion. "We were sent on a highly classified mission and where not able to abandon it....... if we could we....." Anju was silenced by Rin letting loose a few growls and snarls. "I will hear no more of it." She pulled her self to her feet. "It seems to me that the ties of trust have been raveled. Until you are able to regain those ties, I do not want to see any of you near or in BloodWater. That includes visits to my daughter and son. Am I understood?" She waited till all three nodded. "Good. Now get out!" she hissed, before turning and limping away.

Looks to me that Anju and her team mates have gotten themselves in to quite a predicament. And Rin doesn't seem to pleased with them either. Lets just hope that they can mend each others trust once more.
